The charming hosts even provided a continental breakfast and a bottle of wine on arrival, which was such a lovely touch. We were able to easily explore both Lewis and South Harris attractions from this convenient location. Despite the steep road leading to the hut, it offered a peaceful escape from traffic noise. The weather in Harris can be unpredictable, but that didn't dampen our enjoyment one bit. I highly recommend this exceptional place for a truly memorable stay.

The road leading to the accommodation may take some getting used to, as it is steep and downhill.

There is a local shop nearby and a supermarket on the island, making it convenient for longer term business travellers. the fridge and cupboard are spacious enough to fit 4 days worth of shopping. the surrounding area offers great outdoor activities such as kayaking on the loch and walking or mountain biking on excellent trails. it is the perfect place for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
